Mission, Goals, and Rule

We will modify our mission statement and goals as your input provides helpful modification and improvement. This is a group effort.

To begin, the mission of this group effort is for any and all reasonable people to help influence the direction of our government takes. We recognize that the currently ineffective and corrupt political process will never significantly improve unless the "masses" of citizens force specific and constructive improvements. All it takes is for citizens' willingness to expend a little intellectual and emotional energy, to express their constructive opinions about what specific values we will honor and which actions this country should take in order to once again become the country that we profess it to be. 

Broad Goals: We are determined to create a list of priorities and solutions that honesly represent the input of the majority of reasonable citizens.

Our collective findings will be tallied and presented to our politicians in the form of a specific list of cultural values and a "To Do List" of tasks to direct their actions. Our findings will also be provided to the public at large to ensure that everyone knows what are considered priority topics and solutions. We will then honestly know what "most people" truly think are the top national values and priorities to resolve. And, we want the priority issus solved in a manner that is satisfactory to the majority of the population, not just the financially powerful.

The only participant rule, at this point, is that people who wish to participate, do so with clear priority topics and specific recommendations of how to address the topics, goals, problems that they wish to address. We want to accurately include your thoughts and contribution. And we want to maintain a sens of humor while purusing our goals.

Why an Advocacy?

Well, it beats "rag tag group."

The term Advocacy is consistent with our mission and goals, above.There is not a formal structure for this group at this time. Finances are borne by the small band of scribes running this site. You are not being asked for any financial contributions. We may later collectively agree that there are certain activities and actions for which we should explore fund raising, but not at this time.
